A Nigerian nutritionist, Nzubechukwu Mercy, has sparked online discussion after pointing out the behavior of a particular woman who stayed close to Alexx Ekubo's wife during the late Nollywood actor's funeral.
Observation at the Funeral
Alexx Ekubo passed away on May 11 after battling metastatic kidney cancer. He was buried on June 18 in Arochukwu, Abia State, his hometown. During the funeral, Mercy noticed a woman who never left the side of Alexx's widow, Anwuli.
Sharing a photo on Facebook, Mercy wrote that the woman could be seen holding Anwuli's hand at every step. She emphasized the importance of having a strong support system during difficult times, stating that emotional support helps alleviate the pain of losing a loved one. She prayed for comfort for Alexx's entire family and friends.
Mercy's post on June 19 read:
"I noticed that this lady on low cut never left the side of Ike Bobo's widow. You'll see her hold her hand every step of the way. Having a robust support system during difficult times is invaluable. Emotional support means a lot. It goes a long way in alleviating the pain. May the entire family and friends of Alex Ekubo be consoled."
