The death of 14-year-old Kosisochukwu Nnamani, who passed away on 4th May 2026 at a secondary school in Enugu State, has sparked widespread discussion. The boy's elder sister took to her TikTok page to recount what the family was told about her brother's death.

Lady Narrates How Brother Died in School

Identified as @angelicqueensley on TikTok, the lady said her brother died while trying to retrieve his bucket from inside a reservoir. She stated: "Even I, the sister, don't know the true story—whether his friends were the cause or if it happened suddenly. But all I want to clarify is that my brother was fetching water at the reservoir, and they were chased out for their May devotion. My brother sneaked out of the chapel with two friends to get his bucket."

She continued: "My brother told his friends to tie a rope around his waist so he could enter the reservoir to bring out the bucket. They tied the rope, and he entered and retrieved the bucket. As they were pulling him out, the rope snapped, and my brother fell back in and drowned." She urged people to stop spreading rumors that her brother was bullied or forced into the reservoir.
