Meghan Markle has shared two new photographs to mark the fifth birthday of her daughter, Lilibet. The Duchess of Sussex posted the images on Instagram on Thursday, June 4.
A Heartwarming Family Moment
One image captures a barefoot Lilibet, her long red hair partially covering her face, held lovingly in Prince Harry's arms as he gazes at her. Meghan stands beside Harry, her hand on his shoulder, smiling at their daughter. The caption read: "Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili," accompanied by a white heart emoji.
Another Glimpse of Lilibet
In the second photo, Lilibet stands barefoot on sunlit grass, dressed in a summer dress, reaching out to touch the blooms of a blue-purple agapanthus, also known as Lily of the Nile or African Lily.
Lilibet, born on June 4, 2021, in the United States, is the granddaughter of King Charles. She was named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. Under rules established by King George V in 1917, she became entitled to use the title Princess after her grandfather ascended the throne.
Following Lilibet's christening in 2023, Prince Harry and Meghan began using the titles Prince and Princess for their children, Archie and Lili, after corresponding with King Charles on the matter.
