Mummy's Gyal Cries Out for Help Over Depression, Fans React Harshly
Mummy's Gyal Seeks Help for Depression Amid Harsh Fan Reactions

Brand influencer Dominica Chinwe, popularly known as Mummy's Gyal, has raised an alarm over her mental health, pleading for help from her followers. In a distressing video shared on social media, she disclosed that she is "losing it" and described an alleged attempt to end her life.

Mummy's Gyal Shares Her Struggles

According to her, she has been battling depression without a clear cause. She recounted waking up one day and approaching a woman near her home to purchase a poisonous substance, but the woman refused to sell it to her. The influencer noted that the woman observed her disheveled appearance—having just woken up with her natural hair unkempt—and claimed the Holy Spirit instructed her not to proceed with the sale.

Mummy's Gyal expressed reluctance to share the video on Instagram, fearing ridicule and name-calling. Instead, she chose a platform with a smaller audience to convey her message. She added that her mind is "messed up," and she feels extremely lonely and exhausted by everything.

Others advised her to seek help from Verydarkman (VDM), claiming he could provide solutions. A few commenters stated they were also dealing with depression and asked not to be burdened with her situation.

Notably, Mummy's Gyal was among those interviewed by VDM during his investigation into Mohbad's death. Below are some of the comments from her post:
