Nigerian Muslim Woman Defends Marriage to Christian Man Against Trolls
Muslim Woman Defends Marriage to Christian Man

A Nigerian Muslim woman, Nafeesa, has responded to religious trolls who criticized her for marrying a Christian man. Since her wedding on June 6, 2026, she has faced a barrage of hateful comments questioning her decision to marry outside her faith. Many of the remarks were filled with judgment and religious intolerance.

Taking to Facebook, Nafeesa hit back at her detractors, questioning why people would expect her to leave a man who loves her simply because of religious differences. She wrote in Pidgin English: 'Make I leave man wey love me d!e because of religion. Abi because of wetin people go talk. Me self don't talk about people. Na people turn to talk about me too. Christian man wife. Una go just d!e on top my matter. #christianmuslimmarriage.'

She added, 'Any Negative against my marriage I cast and bind. Legally sealed,' asserting her stance against the negativity.
