Ten Ventures Tried Before Success

During the podcast, Temi and Mr Eazi asked Nana to elaborate on the businesses that did not succeed. She listed several ventures, including the admin role and trading, before eventually finding her footing in the dry-cleaning industry.

Nana recalled that while she was exploring other opportunities, she simultaneously started a dry-cleaning and laundry service. At the time, both Femi Otedola and a consultant named Brian questioned whether the business would succeed. Despite their doubts, Nana persisted, believing that Lagos needed a reliable dry-cleaning and laundry service.

"I tried like 10 other things. I tried to work as an admin staff member in an office, although your dad kicked against it. I tried to trade and sell. I was trying other things while doing the dry-cleaning business. I remember a consultant known as Brian asking me, 'Do you think this will work?' Your dad also asked me, 'Do you think this will work?' Lagos needs a good dry-cleaning and laundry service," Nana said.

Nana's perseverance paid off as her dry-cleaning business eventually became successful. Mr Eazi interjected during the podcast, noting that the demand for reliable dry-cleaning and laundry services in Lagos still exists today.
