Context of Nigerian Guinness World Records Achievements
This recognition adds to a growing list of Nigerians being certified by Guinness World Records. Earlier, a Nigerian wigmaker achieved a GWR certification for the longest handmade wig, measuring 351.28 metres (1,152 feet 5 inches), completed in July 2023. The organization announced this feat on January 3, 2024. Additionally, a Nigerian man with three Guinness World Records has claimed to be the first Nigerian recognized in the individual category of GWR.
