Nigerian Man Builds House for Uncle Who Sheltered Him

A Nigerian man, David Aondofa, has expressed his gratitude to his uncle by building and gifting him a house. The gesture was a token of appreciation for the uncle's kindness in accommodating David when he first arrived in Makurdi, Benue State.

Heartfelt Appreciation on Social Media

Sharing photos of the house in a Facebook post on Thursday, June 18, 2026, David acknowledged his uncle's support and kindness. He noted that his uncle treated him well, unlike “other older brothers.”

“This is my gift to the family of David Jija, my uncle, the man who accommodated me when I first came to Makurdi,” he wrote. “This is appreciation to you sir. I am grateful that you did not discriminate me like other older brothers.”

A Modest Token of Gratitude

David further explained that although he does not have much, this was his own little way of saying thank you. He expressed hope that now his uncle has retired from work, he will be able to collect rent and take care of himself. “Once again I am grateful sir. Thank you so much,” he added.
