Westhoff Alleges Assault and Neglect
Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is facing serious allegations from the mother of his son, Dutch model Jelicia Westhoff, who has accused him of domestic violence, infidelity, and neglecting their child. The accusations come amid persistent rumours linking Okoye with American rapper Cardi B.
Westhoff took to her Instagram story to publicly accuse the Udinese shot-stopper of physically abusing her during their relationship. She claimed she remained silent for years out of fear that speaking out would damage his football career.
Cardi B Rumours Intensify
The speculation surrounding Okoye and Cardi B first emerged after they were spotted together in France, according to The New York Post. The pair later appeared in Italy, and a recent video showed them seated together at Gio's restaurant inside The St. Regis Hotel in Venice. TMZ reported that their repeated public appearances have sparked widespread online debate, though neither party has confirmed a romantic relationship.
Westhoff Details Allegations
In her posts, Westhoff accused Okoye of repeatedly cheating on her with both men and women and failing to play an active role in their son's life, who was born in 2023. She wrote: "You don't call your son, you don't see your son? Because you're too busy punishing his mother and being a baddie on social media. Your son that you wanted so badly when you were still broke and I had to give you money."
Westhoff also alleged that she was pressured to protect Okoye's public image despite experiencing pain behind closed doors. She stated: "Think I'm stupid enough to be with someone like this! F**king people behind it force me to fix people's image! I had no choice because when someone has an image they can do whatever they want."
Fear of Legal Action
The Dutch model admitted she had been afraid to take legal action in the past, saying: "I was so scared to take you to court, so scared to press charges, so scared to do anything because I knew you would punish our child. But you know what? I've been calm, I gave you a million chances, and do you take care of him? No."
Westhoff also shared several memes criticizing absent fathers, reinforcing her claims. Okoye has yet to issue a public response to the accusations.
Okoye Previously Dismissed DJ Cuppy Rumours
