Buchi stated, "I love early marriages, when young people get married early. But I think that should come with a level of maturity, openness to advice and mentorship." He drew a parallel with his own sister, who married at age 22, and her then 25-year-old husband. According to Buchi, the couple has been together for over five years—possibly approaching seven—and has built a genuinely happy household due to their receptiveness to guidance and growth.
Livestream Clip Raises Questions About Resentment
A key point of concern for Buchi was an old livestream clip in which Jarvis, visibly upset, told Peller he could take back a car he had given her as a gift. Buchi remarked, "I don't think weeks to a wedding, a woman should be that pissed off that she's saying you can take back a car you got for her. No matter how annoyed she is, that shouldn't be the response." He urged the couple to address any lingering issues before the ceremony, going so far as to suggest postponement or cancellation if unresolved resentment persists. "Don't get into marriage with resentment. And if you have unresolved resentment, postpone the marriage or cancel it," he warned.
