Tanzanians flood Priscilla Ojo’s pages over Juma Jux weight loss

Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo is trending on social media after Tanzanians flooded the comment sections of her pages to raise concerns over her husband, singer Juma “Juma Jux” Mkambala’s noticeable weight loss. Fans are calling on Priscilla, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, to “release” their son, using the hashtag #FreeJumaJux.

Backlash Over Singer’s Appearance

The backlash followed the singer’s visibly leaner appearance at the star-studded wedding of TikTokers Habeeb “Peller” Hamzat and Amadou “Jarvis” Aminata. Some Tanzanians accused Priscilla of driving the singer towards financial ruin and called on her to cut back on his spending. Others claimed Priscilla deprives him of food and urged her to prioritise his nutrition, adding that the singer had lost significant weight since their marriage.

Priscilla and Juma Jux Respond

Priscilla responded to the critics in the comment section, dismissing their claims with humour and insisting that her husband was doing just fine. She added that Juma Jux enjoyed the attention and was happy in their marriage. “Pussy is too good, he doesn’t want to leave. Aww! Your brothers love it here,” some of her responses to the trolls read.

Meanwhile, the singer said in a video posted on his wife’s TikTok page on Monday that he was comfortable with his current appearance. He dismissed speculation that he was unwell, saying he did not want to return to his previous appearance. “I don’t want to be chubby; I’m okay. Before, my stomach was bigger, and I didn’t want to be like that. I like myself now.”

Priscilla’s Current Activities

As calls from Tanzanians for the singer’s release continued to grow, Priscilla is currently in Accra, Ghana, hosting a pop-up sale to expand her luxury brand, Priscyluxe.
