A Nigerian man, identified as Muna on X (formerly Twitter), has shared a heartbreaking story of a woman who discovered her unemployed husband with another woman after she returned home unexpectedly.
How it happened
According to Muna, who posted the story on Sunday, June 14, 2026, the woman had taken her children to their grandmother's house on Thursday, planning to return on Sunday night. However, one of the children fell ill, forcing her to return home on Sunday morning.
Upon arrival, she found her husband with another woman in their home. The husband has been unemployed, and the wife has been the sole breadwinner, covering all expenses including the house rent.
A painful betrayal
Muna expressed deep dismay at the situation, saying: “A fight is going on in the house next to mine. This lady took her kids to their grandmother's for the holiday on Thursday. They were supposed to be back tonight, but one of the kids got sick, so she brought them home this morning. However, her husband has been housing another woman since they left. For a woman who pays the rent and takes care of you while you're job hunting, this is a terrible way to repay her. Some men need to do better.”
