An American woman has shared the negative reaction she received from her family after revealing her plan to move to Nigeria to be with the love of her life. The woman, who posted a video on her TikTok account @kate, explained that she had informed her family about her intention to relocate within six months, along with her children.
Family Disapproval Over Relocation
According to the woman, her announcement was met with strong disapproval from several relatives. She noted that her children, mother, aunt, and sisters all expressed their objections, and the mood became noticeably dampened. Her children made it clear that they did not want to go. The woman captured the moment she broke the news and the ensuing reactions, stating that their response left her with the impression that they were unhappy about the proposed relocation. In her words: 'Telling my family me and the kids are moving to Nigeria. We're moving in six months. I don't think they are happy.'
