Woman Hospitalised After Giving Savings to First Love

A woman has recounted a harrowing experience with her first love that landed her in the hospital. She shared throwback photos of herself in a hospital bed, revealing that she ended up there after giving her entire school savings to her boyfriend.

Trusting Her First Love

According to her account, she gave the boyfriend all the money she had saved for school after he claimed he was broke and hadn't eaten. He was reportedly in school at the time, while she was still struggling with her Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams.

Days after sending the money, she said he stopped taking her calls. She wrote: "This was me after sending my first love the whole money I've been keeping for school. He told me he was broke, hadn't eaten.. blabla... He was in school at the time, and I was still struggling with jamb."

The Breakup Message

The situation escalated when he finally contacted her. She continued: "Days after, he started rejecting my calls. Later, he sent me a message that he needed to focus on his studies, and I was distracting him. That he isn't ready for the depth of love I was showing him."

The woman, who was at work when she received the message, became dizzy, fell, and was rushed to the hospital. She took photos of herself in the hospital bed and sent them to him, hoping he would reconsider, but he did not respond.

Emotional and Financial Toll

The incident highlights the emotional and financial risks of trusting a partner too much. The woman lost both her savings and her relationship, ending up hospitalised due to the shock. Her story serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of financial and emotional vulnerability in relationships.
