A Nigerian man residing in Dubai has made a heartfelt plea on social media, detailing a harrowing experience of alleged spiritual manipulation by individuals from his home village. In an emotional video shared on TikTok, the man, identified as @imolekananonikan, expressed his distress over what he describes as a targeted campaign to disrupt his life and alter his behavior.
Allegations of Spiritual Manipulation and Erratic Behavior
The man claimed that people from his community are tampering with his senses, forcing him to act in ways that are completely out of character. He reported engaging in self-destructive actions, such as getting into fights, talking to himself, and experiencing memory lapses. According to him, these behaviors are not his own, but rather the result of external spiritual influences.
"My behaviors are that of someone else, this is not me," he lamented. "How can I collect someone else’s money, spend it, and start fighting them? I keep doing everything that will land me in prison."
He further disclosed that he has been visiting police stations, getting locked up, and later released, all while feeling a loss of control over his actions. The situation has become so severe that he fears for his safety and well-being, stating, "I don’t want to die like this."
Seeking Help and Facing Threats
In an attempt to protect himself, the man has written down the names of those he believes are involved in the alleged spiritual attacks. He also reached out to his spiritual advisors in Ilorin for assistance, but still feels overwhelmed by the ongoing ordeal.
His personal relationships have suffered as well, with the mother of his children allegedly wishing him harm. He claimed to have seen this in his dreams and even confronted some of the individuals involved, only to be threatened with worse consequences. "They told me that I haven’t seen anything yet," he recounted.
Mother's Prayers Provide Solace
Amidst the turmoil, the man expressed deep gratitude for his mother's unwavering support. He credited her prayers and encouragement for helping him cope during this difficult period. "Only my mother stood by me with prayers in reality and in the dream," he said. "That’s why I started praying to support my mum’s prayers."
He revealed that he now prays every day at 3 a.m. because he cannot sleep, and his mother continually intercedes on his behalf, pleading, "Please leave my children alone. I didn’t enjoy their father, please let me reap the fruit of my labour on my children."
