Global lifestyle and wellness company QNET has issued a crucial warning to Nigerian parents, urging them to significantly reduce their children's exposure to smartphones, tablets, and other digital devices.
Health Concerns Over Device Radiation
The company delivered this important message during a product workshop held in Abuja on 22 November 2025, where QNET's Regional Strategy and Marketing Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Berni Gaksch, expressed serious concerns about prolonged exposure to radiation from everyday gadgets.
Gaksch emphasized that children face greater risks than adults because their developing skull structure provides less protection. "Children are a lot more affected than adults because their cranium has not been fully formed," Gaksch explained. "When a baby's skull has not come together, radiation can penetrate more easily. This is why parents must minimise exposure as much as possible."
Wellness Solutions for Modern Technology
During the Abuja event, QNET introduced its Amezcua product line, which includes three main devices designed to support user wellbeing:
- Chi Pendant 4
- Bio Disc 3
- Bio Light 3
According to Gaksch, these products utilize advanced resonance and energy technologies intended to counter electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation. "These products do not heal any disease. They enhance your body function," he clarified. "If your immune system becomes stronger over time, naturally, your body will heal itself."
The company representative provided specific details about the Chi Pendant 4, noting it contains "a chip with a copper ring" that allegedly helps reduce radiation effects by deflecting negative energy and converting it into beneficial energy that harmonizes the body.
Broader Radiation Concerns and Certifications
Gaksch also cautioned attendees about microwave usage, stating that microwave radiation levels are "very high," though he noted the pendant offers only partial protection against such exposure.
Addressing product credibility concerns, Gaksch asserted that QNET's devices have received international certifications from Germany, Russia, and the United States. "They prove that our technology works," he stated, though he maintained the products are designed to support immunity and promote physical and mental resilience rather than cure specific diseases.
The workshop highlighted growing global concerns about radiation exposure from common devices like mobile phones and Wi-Fi routers, with QNET positioning itself as offering solutions for wellness-conscious Nigerian families seeking to navigate the challenges of modern technology.
