"The news of the passing of celebrated Nollywood actor, Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, is deeply saddening. It is particularly painful that only days after the public became aware of his battle with cancer, we are confronted with the heartbreaking news of his demise," Atiku wrote.
The former vice president described Taiwo Hassan as a figure who went beyond entertaining audiences, using his platform to reflect Nigerian society and drive social change.
