The energetic grand finale of VerveLife 8.0 captivated Lagos with an unforgettable celebration of fitness and wellness that attracted over 10,100 enthusiastic participants to the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island.
Africa's Premier Fitness Experience
This year's edition solidified its position as Africa's biggest fitness and lifestyle gathering, featuring an impressive lineup of activities designed for all fitness levels. The event transformed the convention center into a vibrant hub of health and entertainment, offering something for everyone from beginners to advanced fitness enthusiasts.
Participants engaged in electrifying workouts and inspiring masterclasses led by top fitness trainers including Kemen, Trebla, Mayorfit, BodyByJane, CeeJay Kimani, King of Squats (KOS), Mamiki Slayqueen, Queen Fitnass from South Africa, and Dolapo. The diverse program included thrilling breakout sessions using spin bikes, step boards, and trampolines, along with a challenging multi-level obstacle course arena.
Comprehensive Wellness Focus
The event demonstrated a holistic approach to health by incorporating nutrition and lifestyle masterclasses alongside physical activities. Families were well catered for with a fully equipped kiddies corner that kept children aged 3-10 engaged while their parents participated in fitness sessions.

The fitness competition culminated in spectacular rewards for three outstanding participants. Peter Alfred and Paul Amedu each won N1 million, while Chidera Nkem emerged as the grand prize winner, driving home a brand-new car courtesy of Verve x Google Play and Chery x Carloha.
As daylight faded, the energy transitioned seamlessly into the VerveLife 8.0 After Party, featuring electric performances by King Ojem, Shoday, Alternate Sound, LOUD Urban Choir, and the iconic Timaya. The celebration attracted numerous celebrities including Tobi Bakre, Broda Shaggi, Dr. Sid, Timi Dakolo, and Hero Daniels, while top DJs including Maze and Xtreme, DJ Toh Bad, DJ Crowd Kontroller, and DJ X-Ray kept the crowd dancing into the early morning hours.
