In a significant leadership transition, Dr. Olagoke Erinomo has officially commenced his duties as the Acting Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti (FETHI). This change follows the completion of the two-term tenure of the immediate past CMD, Professor Adekunle Ajayi, which ended on December 31, 2025.

According to an official statement from the hospital released on Friday, Dr. Erinomo, who previously served as the Chairman of the institution's Medical Advisory Committee, formally took over the reins on January 1, 2026. Marking the new year, Dr. Erinomo encouraged the hospital's staff to embrace 2026 with resilience and renewed hope.
