A Nigerian lady has drawn emotional reactions from social media users after sharing a video that shows how chronic kidney disease has altered her appearance. The lady, who goes by the username @ijaybaybee on TikTok, posted a before-and-after video comparing her past look with her current state.
Lady Details Physical Changes Caused by Kidney Disease
In the video, she explained that the medical condition has stripped her of her health, beauty, and memory. She stated that her weight has dropped drastically to 58 kilograms, making her veins highly visible. The young lady noted that the illness has taken so much from her that she can no longer track everything she has lost.
She said: "Here is a video of what I used to look like when I was without kidney disease. Kidney disease has taken so much from me. It took away my good health, my memory, my weight, my beauty. This is what I look like now. Currently, I weigh 58 kilograms. It has taken so much that my veins are really visible. All I can do is pray for myself."
