Palmadex CEO Omoyeni Gets Transparency Africa Honour

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Palmadex Group, Dr. Benard Omoyeni, has been conferred with the prestigious Transparency Africa Honour by Transparency Africa, a non-partisan global initiative aimed at curbing corruption and promoting transparency across private, public, and civil sectors. The award was presented during a private ceremony held last Tuesday at the Palmadex House in Lagos.

Award Presentation and Verification Process

Omoyeni was joined by Dr. Patrick Omoyeni, Operations Manager; Nnenne Azubuike, Business Development Manager; Uzoma Omoyeni, Business Development Director; Frank Anyanwu, Accountant; and other key team members to receive the honour. The Nigerian delegates of Transparency Africa represented the Executive Secretary in presenting the award. The process involved a thorough background evaluation, including consultations with anti-graft agencies and financial institutions to verify Omoyeni's financial integrity, administrative record, and reputation. The verification confirmed no adverse findings, leading to his ratification as a recipient of the Transparency Africa Honour in April.

Official Communication and Vision

The approval of his nomination was communicated through a letter signed by the Executive Secretary, Ambassador Afi Kunto. Speaking on the award, Goriola, a representative of Transparency Africa, stated, "Transparency Africa's vision is to create a corrupt-free Africa both in public and private sectors for a better continent. Africa, with its enormous natural resources and human capital, faces the challenge of corruption that limits socio-economic growth. The objective of the honours is to promote a corrupt-free Africa by honouring credible individuals who have demonstrated transparency in their dealings. Yours is not an exception, as we have found you credible and transparent enough as MD/CEO of Palmadex Group Ltd, an ambassador for transparency emancipation in Nigeria and Africa at large." Other members of the Transparency Africa team present included Emmanuel Ogunsakin and Jasmine Alo.

Acceptance Speech and Commitment

In his acceptance speech, Omoyeni described the honour as landmark and legendary. He said, "It is an award that validates our corporate vision of being the global export-import company of choice, delivering superior services through integrity, transparency, and efficiency in the international value chain. It reinforces our position as a company of choice that values integrity, transparency, and accountability in our business dealings. The award is a powerful reminder of our commitment to standard practices and inspires us to continue pushing the frontiers of transparency and integrity in running the business. It places on us the responsibility to be worthy ambassadors of Transparency Africa, promoting the achievement of the organisation's objectives."

Closing Remarks and Company Profile

In his closing remarks, Omoyeni noted, "The award reminds us of the journey thus far and places a responsibility on us to do even greater in promoting transparent operations, good administration, and the ideals of good governance in corporate business." He assured that the honour would not be taken for granted, as it is most cherished and will position the company as an ambassador of transparency wherever it is represented. According to the organisation's media liaison officer, Deji Obasa, Palmadex Global Integrated Services Ltd is a multi-award-winning organisation with its head office in Lagos and registered offices or operational bases in Chicago, USA; Dubai, UAE; Hanoi, Vietnam; and seven other cities across the globe. The company has over 11 years of extensive global operations and continues to expand frontiers of investment in non-oil agro-export operations, creating value for stakeholders locally and internationally.
