She made this announcement yesterday at a gathering of party executives and stalwarts in Ajuwon/Akute Ward 6, Ifo Local Government Area, under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
A Call to Service Driven by Experience and Responsibility
Adeleye described her aspiration as a call to service, emphasizing that it is motivated by a sense of responsibility, her political experience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Indeed, this is significant in the birth of a renewed vision," she said during the declaration event.
Prioritizing Economic Empowerment and Job Creation
Central to Adeleye's campaign platform is the prioritization of economic empowerment and job creation, particularly targeting youths and women in the constituency. She outlined specific strategies to achieve this, including:
- Supporting small and medium-scale enterprises to boost local entrepreneurship.
- Promoting vocational training programs to enhance skills and employability.
- Attracting investments that will stimulate local industries and create sustainable jobs.
She stressed that empowering people economically is the most effective way to reduce poverty and enhance community stability. "Central to my plans is the prioritization of economic empowerment and job creation, particularly for youths and women," she added, reaffirming her focus on tangible development.
Commitment to Responsive and Inclusive Representation
Adeleye expressed her readiness to advocate for policies and projects that will address existing gaps and bring development closer to the people. She promised to maintain open channels of communication with her constituents, ensuring that her representation is inclusive and responsive to their needs. "I will be inclusive in my representation, listening to and acting on the concerns of everyone in the constituency," she noted, highlighting her dedication to fostering a collaborative approach to governance.
Appreciation for Support and Infrastructure Development
During her declaration, Adeleye extended her heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of Ogun State, for appointing her as a Commissioner in the State Cabinet and for providing the necessary support to succeed in her duties. She also thanked the Governor for the completed and ongoing road infrastructure projects in her Local Government, especially in Ajuwon/Akute Ward, which she believes will benefit the community.
This declaration marks a significant step in Adeleye's political journey as she seeks to leverage her experience and vision to serve at the federal level, with a clear focus on driving economic growth and empowerment in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency.
