APC Group Says Tinubu Deserves Re-election for Economic Recovery

A prominent support group within Nigeria's ruling party has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's economic recovery strategies have positioned him strongly for a second term in office.

Grassroots Gathering in Ondo State

The declaration was made by the Director-General of the BTO4PBAT support group, Adesuyi Adojutelegan. He spoke at a special get-together event held on 29 December 2025 in Arigidi-Akoko, Akoko North-West Local Council Area of Ondo State. The gathering brought together group members, ward coordinators, and local residents.

It was revealed that the event received sponsorship from the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. Adojutelegan stated the primary purpose was to thank members for their steadfast support of the Tinubu administration.

Economic Gains and Call for Mobilization

Adojutelegan pointed to tangible signs of economic improvement as the basis for Tinubu's re-election argument. He emphasized that recent reductions in the cost of essential food items are clear indicators of progress.

"Nigeria is getting better every day under President Tinubu," Adojutelegan asserted. "A bag of rice now sells for between N58,000 and N65,000. This is a result of the sound economic policies of our president."

He described this development as evidence that the country is being successfully repositioned after initial economic challenges. Based on these perceived achievements in economic stabilisation and infrastructure development, the group leader insisted Tinubu has "earned the right to be re-elected."

Urgent Task for Supporters

The Director-General issued a direct charge to the group's members. He instructed them to begin an aggressive grassroots mobilisation campaign with the dawn of the new year.

"I urge you all to go out in the new year and work aggressively in your various wards," he said. "Go to the grassroots and do your best to preach the achievements of the president to the people."

Adojutelegan also addressed the nation's security situation, assuring Nigerians that President Tinubu is working tirelessly to tackle the challenges. He concluded by stating that the president requires the continued support of all citizens to achieve total success in his recovery agenda for Nigeria.
