Dr Olukoya Dedicates MFM Noforija Church in Epe

The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has dedicated a new ultra-modern church in Noforija, Epe, Lagos State, accompanied by a large-scale humanitarian outreach. The event, held on May 8, 2026, was led by the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, who was represented by Assistant General Overseer Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan.

Church Dedication Marks Milestone

Dr. Olukoya, through Pastor Adegbolahan, stated that the dedication of MFM Region 210 in Noforija represents a significant step in the ministry's mission to expand its grassroots presence across Nigeria and beyond. The ceremony attracted worshippers, community leaders, and church officials, all united in purpose and expectation. For residents, the new church signifies spiritual reinforcement, community development, and renewed hope.

Exhortation on Wonders

During the commissioning, Pastor Adegbolahan delivered an exhortation titled "Prayers to Provoke Wonders" based on Isaiah 9:6. He emphasized that every believer in Christ is mandated to manifest wonders. "You are supposed to be a wonder to your generation, mandated to manifest wonders because you belong to Jesus Christ, whose name is called Wonderful," he said. "Wonder is a visible signature that God is on your side."

Humanitarian Outreach Benefits Hundreds

The humanitarian outreach attracted hundreds of beneficiaries and featured free medical services, food distribution, and skills empowerment programmes. The initiative targeted the less privileged, regardless of religious affiliation, age, or ethnicity. Qualified health professionals provided consultations, basic treatments, and health guidance free of charge. Community members received screenings for conditions they might otherwise be unable to treat due to financial constraints. The ministry also distributed food items to families to help cushion the impact of rising living costs. Beneficiaries described the intervention as timely and impactful, easing household burdens significantly.

Part of Explosive Evangelism Initiative

Pastor Moses Adebowale, Senior/Mega Regional Overseer of MFM Lekki Mega Regional Axis, speaking through Pastor Olufemi Odelabi, said the outreach is part of the Explosive Evangelism Initiative (EEI) instituted by Dr. Olukoya. He noted that Dr. Olukoya directed all MFM churches to positively impact lives spiritually through evangelism and physically through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Adebowale expressed gratitude to Dr. Olukoya and his wife, Dr. Folashade Elizabeth Olukoya, describing them as "the Apostle of Deliverance and selfless philanthropists" for their commitment to soul-winning, deliverance ministry, and life transformation.

Other Impactful Initiatives

Adebowale noted that beyond biblical teachings and deliverance programmes, MFM has implemented several initiatives, including scholarships for indigent but brilliant students, skills and financial empowerment for widows, youth training and empowerment, orphanage support, and prison evangelism for rehabilitation and reintegration of ex-inmates.

Winning Souls Through Service

Evangelist Patience Udeme, District Evangelism Leader for Lekki/Ajah Axis, said the Food Evangelism and Medical Outreach is designed to win souls for Christ, depopulate the kingdom of darkness, and bring relief by addressing both spiritual and physical needs. "In a bid to win more souls for Jesus Christ, the church consistently engages in food evangelism, street evangelism, market outreaches, prison and orphanage visits, as well as crusades and film shows," Udeme said.

Medical Team Report

Dr. Victoria Olubukunola Ayeni, Head of the MFM Medical Team, reported that a large number of residents were attended to. Services included Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) tests, Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) tests, Full Blood Count (FBC), blood pressure checks, and other diagnostic screenings. Pregnant women, ulcer patients, and individuals suffering from stroke and piles also received medical attention.

Skills for Self-Reliance

A key highlight was the free skills acquisition and empowerment session, where participants were trained in vocational skills such as soap making and perfume production to promote entrepreneurship and financial independence. Organisers stressed that equipping people with practical skills is essential to breaking the cycle of poverty and building sustainable livelihoods. The church also extended support to widows through food supplies and cash gifts to strengthen their businesses, improve welfare, and support their children's education.

Residents Commend Initiative

Residents of Noforija commended the outreach as timely and impactful, calling on other organizations to emulate such initiatives. As the programme concluded, it left behind not only relief materials and medical services but also renewed hope and a stronger sense of community solidarity. For the people of Noforija, the intervention stands as a reminder that compassion and collective action remain powerful drivers of social transformation.
