Celebrities 2027 Election: VDM Warns Nigerians About Goodluck Jonathan and PDP, 'He Is Sponsored by Tinubu'

Ratel president Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has shared his opinion on the 2027 Nigerian presidential election. In a recent video, he addressed the growing speculation surrounding former President Goodluck Jonathan's potential candidacy.
Days ago, a video surfaced showing a group of people visiting Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, urging him to contest the 2027 election. They argued that Nigerians need his leadership during these challenging times. However, VDM has issued a stern warning to Nigerians, urging them to be cautious about Jonathan's political ambitions.
In his video, VDM displayed a poster of Jonathan and expressed his concerns. He alleged that Jonathan is secretly working for President Bola Tinubu. According to VDM, Jonathan's campaign is being sponsored by Tinubu himself, and he advised Nigerians not to take Jonathan's presidential bid seriously.
VDM Claims Tinubu Is Using Jonathan to Split Opposition Votes
VDM elaborated on his claims, stating that President Tinubu faces strong contenders in the upcoming election. He believes Tinubu is attempting to divide the opposition vote by encouraging Jonathan to run. If Jonathan contests, VDM argued, he could weaken the chances of other candidates defeating Tinubu.
The Ratel president also accused Nyesom Wike of controlling the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He described Wike as 'Tinubu's boy' and claimed that Wike would not be loyal to Jonathan. VDM further alleged that other PDP members from various zones are also loyal to Tinubu, mentioning Tompolo and Asari Dokubo as examples. He noted that Tompolo was once a target under the Tinubu administration.
VDM Advises Jonathan to Consider Teaming Up with Peter Obi
VDM suggested that Goodluck Jonathan should consider forming an alliance with Peter Obi or ask Obi to step down so Jonathan could take over after a first term. According to VDM, such a move would strengthen the opposition against Tinubu in the 2027 election.
VDM Also Advises Atiku Abubakar
VDM also directed advice at Atiku Abubakar, claiming that many in the North no longer support him. He said Atiku lacks strong backing in the coming election, describing him as a 'prodigal son' in the region. VDM advised Atiku to team up with Peter Obi if he wants to win, stating that Obi has strong popularity but needs a solid northern base. VDM closed the comment section of his video to avoid backlash.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Verydarkman shared stunning photos with a fair-complexioned lady on his Instagram page. The two were standing in a compromising position, but the activist did not show the lady's face. In the caption, he told followers not to worry about her identity, simply noting that 'it was sweet.' The post left many fans heartbroken, with several tagging Jojo of Lele in the comments. She later reacted to their remarks.
