Yari's Renewed Hope Network Showcases Tinubu's Achievements, Cautions Opposition Against Propaganda
The Renewed Hope Network (TRN), a political group established by former Zamfara State Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari, has called on opposition figures in Nigeria to set aside their grievances and objectively recognize what it describes as the significant achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across multiple sectors. The group also issued a stern warning to Nigerians about what it termed lies, propaganda, and deliberate distortions being spread by opposition elements targeting the President and his administration in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.
Solidarity Rally at APC National Convention
Speaking with journalists during a solidarity rally at the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, the leader of TRN's technical committee, revealed that the group mobilized thousands of supporters to the event to demonstrate their unwavering solidarity with President Tinubu and commend his administration's performance. Ogenyi praised Senator Yari for founding the network, describing it as a crucial platform dedicated to promoting the administration's accomplishments and enhancing grassroots engagement in support of the Renewed Hope agenda.
According to Ogenyi, President Tinubu has consistently demonstrated exceptional capacity, unwavering commitment, and a genuine willingness to steer Nigeria toward prosperity through his comprehensive policies and reforms. "We call on opposition figures and those who feel aggrieved as a result of the ongoing re-engineering and rebuilding of Nigeria by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government to bury their anger and open their eyes to the benefits of the ongoing reforms," he stated emphatically.
Warning Against Misinformation Ahead of 2027 Elections
Ogenyi further emphasized that as the 2027 elections approach, Nigerians must remain vigilant against misinformation and propaganda allegedly being disseminated by political opponents. "We are using this medium to alert Nigerians that spin doctors, propagandists, and blackmailers are being engaged by opposition figures, but we believe the will of the people will always prevail because we are in the majority," he asserted, highlighting the group's confidence in public support for the administration.
Attributing Defections to Confidence in APC's Direction
On the topic of the increasing wave of defections to the APC, Ogenyi attributed this trend to what he described as growing confidence in the party's direction under President Tinubu's leadership. He noted that several governors and prominent political leaders are joining the ruling party in appreciation of the President's effective governance and visionary approach.
Highlighting Administration's Achievements
Ogenyi also outlined some of the administration's key achievements, claiming that:
- Insecurity has been significantly reduced across the nation.
- The prolonged crisis with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been successfully resolved.
- Students are now benefiting from the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
- Fuel availability has improved markedly.
- Inflation rates have declined.
- Foreign reserves have risen substantially.
- Nigeria's economy is experiencing steady and sustainable growth under the current administration.
"We are set to mobilise Nigerians in support of the Tinubu administration under the Renewed Hope Network," Ogenyi added, reaffirming the group's commitment to grassroots mobilization and advocacy for the government's policies.
