The landmark Memorandum of Understanding was formally signed in Dubai on November 17, 2025, bringing together Nigerian and UAE educational leaders. Minister of Youth Development Ayodele Olawande represented Nigeria, while Dr. Waleed Al Ali, director of the UAE Digital School, signed on behalf of the institution operating under the prestigious Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).
This partnership represents a major commitment to preparing Nigerian youth for active participation in the rapidly evolving global digital economy. The Ministry of Youth Development emphasized that the agreement demonstrates Nigeria's determination to strengthen its role in technology-driven sectors worldwide.

Officials confirmed that this development follows productive earlier discussions held in July 2025 with key UAE government representatives and development partners.
