NBA Issues Directive to Garki Branch Over Maina Patronage
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has taken a firm stance against corruption by ordering the immediate removal of Abdulrasheed Maina as a Patron of its Garki Branch. In a decisive move, NBA President Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, released a statement on social media platform X, condemning the alleged appointment of Maina as the 'Grand Patron of the NBA Garki Branch.' Osigwe emphasized that appointing Maina, who was convicted of embezzling over N2 billion in pension funds, severely undermines the government's anti-corruption efforts.
