APC Leaders Unite for Egbe-Idimu LCDA Infrastructure Milestone

In a significant display of political unity and developmental progress, prominent leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State gathered to mark the 100-day achievement of Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area Chairman, Prince Idris Balogun.

The event witnessed the presence of Olajide Adediran, widely known as Jandor, who leads the Lagos4Lagos Movement alongside Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the State APC Chairman, and Honorable Robert Kayode Bibire, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs.

Road Commissioning Highlights Purposeful Leadership

The centerpiece of the celebration was the official commissioning of the newly constructed Phidel College road, a infrastructure project that has generated considerable excitement among local residents. Jandor described the moment as a powerful demonstration of what community-focused governance can achieve when vision meets concrete action.

"Standing alongside our party Chairman and the Commissioner while witnessing this development was both enriching and humbling," Jandor expressed during the ceremony held on November 19, 2025.

He emphasized that the road project represents more than just asphalt and construction, noting it will enhance mobility, stimulate local commerce, and improve daily life for Egbe-Idimu residents.

Massive Empowerment Program Benefits Community

Earlier during the mega empowerment program organized by Chairman Balogun, Jandor commended the initiative that directly impacted 500 residents with financial grants exceeding N50 million.

The comprehensive empowerment package included:

  • Hair dryers and clippers for beauty professionals
  • Sewing machines for fashion entrepreneurs
  • Generators and gas cylinders for small businesses
  • Air fryer ovens for food vendors
  • Bench grinders for artisans and technicians

Jandor also used the opportunity to praise President Bola Tinubu's push for full local government autonomy, describing it as a crucial step toward shaping Nigeria's future by ensuring more funds reach grassroots development.

Transformative Impact in First 100 Days

The APC chieftain expressed admiration for Chairman Balogun's accomplishments within his first 100 days in office, highlighting the speed and efficiency in delivering meaningful projects to the people.

"Moments like this underscore the transformative impact of collective effort and shared responsibility," Jandor stated, adding that he felt "truly honoured to have been part of such a meaningful milestone for our people and our community."

The event served as a strong endorsement of Balogun's administration and its commitment to infrastructure development and human capacity building, setting a positive tone for the remainder of his tenure in Egbe-Idimu LCDA.
