The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has established a 17-member screening committee to oversee the vetting of aspirants seeking the party's presidential, governorship, senatorial, and House of Representatives tickets ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party described the committee as a blend of experienced politicians, professionals, party leaders, and members of the National Working Committee. Other members include NDC Deputy Chairman Babatunde Ali, veteran politician Buba Galadima, Mohammed Sani Takori, Daniel Onifade, veteran journalist Ikeddy Isiguzo, and former All Progressives Congress chairman in Ogun State, Wole Adedayo.
