Pro-Tinubu Groups Unite for 2027 Re-Election Campaign

The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) and the Global Alliance for Tinubu Campaign have announced a collaborative effort to secure President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 presidential election. This development was disclosed in a statement signed by Kingsley Akamabe, Deputy Director of Field Operations of the Global Alliance for Tinubu Campaign, and made available to journalists.

According to the statement, the two campaign organizations have agreed to adopt a multi-pronged strategy to ensure victory for President Tinubu. The National Coordinator of the Global Alliance for Tinubu Campaign, Dr. Abubakar Jimoh, revealed this during a courtesy visit to the Director-General of TSG, Dr. Umar Tanko Yakassai, at his campaign office in Abuja.

Dr. Jimoh stated, “Our campaign programmes will be issues-oriented, focusing on the landmark achievements of President Tinubu in the last three years rather than political sloganeering and razzmatazz.” He further emphasized that both organizations would involve Nigerians in the diaspora in the campaign. “We will leverage the huge potential of Nigerians in the diaspora under the aegis of the Global Convener, Prince Bevis Paul Igbinoba,” Jimoh added.

He urged eligible voters to renew Tinubu’s mandate to allow him to complete the economic gains of his reforms and the Renewed Hope agenda. In his remarks, Dr. Yakassai reaffirmed his commitment to building TSG into a pan-Nigerian campaign organization for Tinubu’s re-election. He said, “We are committed to building TSG into a pan-Nigerian campaign organisation that will serve as a veritable vehicle for the re-election of President Tinubu.”

Dr. Yakassai also stated that TSG is ready to work with all pro-Tinubu campaign groups. “We are willing to work with all shades of pro-Tinubu campaign groups because of our common goals and desire to ensure the re-election of President Tinubu,” he said. He praised the Global Alliance for Tinubu Campaign’s plan to mobilize five million votes through grassroots mobilization nationwide.
