Cleric Advises President Tinubu to Depend on God for 2027 Re-election
Prophetess Oluwayemisi Ayodeji Ajiyemi, a prominent cleric, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to draw closer to God as he prepares for the 2027 presidential election, stating that his re-election success will hinge on faith and divine guidance. The advice was delivered during her birthday anniversary celebration at God's Miracle Success Ministry Worldwide in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Spiritual Commitment as Key to Leadership Success
In her address, Prophetess Ajiye emphasized that the President must deepen his relationship with God, asserting that success in leadership and the forthcoming election depends on spiritual commitment. "My advice for our President is that he should be closer to God, love Him, and walk more with Him because there is nothing anyone can do without God's assistance," she said. "If he allows God to guide him and puts his faith in Him, he will be victorious in the forthcoming election."
Prayers for Nigeria's Future and Governance
The cleric added that her prayers about the country's future indicate that those who depend on God will enjoy protection and success, expressing optimism that Nigeria will witness improvement in the coming year. She also urged President Tinubu to prioritize good governance by appointing competent individuals into government positions to ensure Nigerians benefit from the dividends of democracy.
Speaking on the state of the nation, Ajiye maintained that Nigeria's progress depends on both leaders and citizens embracing faith and righteousness. "Nigeria is in God's hands, and that is why I advise all our leaders to be closer to Him. Between now and next year, we shall witness goodness in this country if we all return to God," she stated.
