He highlighted his intention to bring capacity and numbers to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming elections, confidently predicting a landslide victory for the APC. "We have come with capacity, with number to support Mr President to win the election. Victory is for APC, we have come to bring a landslide victory," he asserted, assuring the ruling party of strong support in returning Tinubu to Aso Rock.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, speaking on behalf of President Tinubu, warmly welcomed Governor Fintiri to the party, describing him as a performer. "On behalf of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I say a warm welcome to the party. It is not only about your arrival, but a party that has the people at heart," Shettima remarked. He further declared, "From this moment, I want to emphatically say Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State."
