Speaking on the initiative, LASTMA General Manager Olalekan Bakare-Oki stated that the training reflects the agency's commitment to professionalism and effective public service. "The success of the Authority depends largely on the discipline, professionalism, and emotional stability of its personnel. Beyond traffic control, officers must uphold high standards that build public trust and strengthen institutional credibility," he said.

He added that the program is expected to promote punctuality, accountability, and an organized workflow among senior officers, who are expected to lead by example within the organization.

The training also includes practical sessions and case studies to help officers understand the impact of poor time management and unprofessional conduct, while encouraging the adoption of best practices.
