Background of Bishop Chukwu

Born in November 1965, Bishop Chukwu was ordained a priest for the Catholic Diocese of Abakaliki in July 1993. He was appointed Local Ordinary of Abakaliki Diocese in July 2021 and consecrated Bishop in August 2021. Until his death, he served as the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) assistant secretary.
