President Donald Trump has asserted that the latest release of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case serves to clear his name, stating they reveal the "opposite of what many people were hoping for." This declaration comes even as the files contain allegations of a sexual act involving a young teenage girl, which have been strongly denied by the White House.
Massive Document Release and Content Details
Over the weekend, the Department of Justice made public more than three million additional pages of materials connected to the Epstein investigation. This extensive release included approximately 2,000 videos and around 180,000 images, adding significant volume to the already vast collection of evidence and records.
Allegations and Their Removal
According to reports from Mail Online, sexual assault allegations against President Trump emerged within these files but were removed just hours after publication. An FBI record contained an uncorroborated tip claiming that a 13 or 14-year-old girl was forced to perform a sex act on Mr. Trump decades ago. The document containing this unverified allegation disappeared from the files temporarily but was later restored.
The White House has vehemently rejected these claims, emphasizing their lack of verification. President Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing in relation to Jeffrey Epstein and has not been accused of any crimes by Epstein's victims, according to available information.
Trump's Response and Legal Threats
Responding to the files' release, President Trump stated, "I didn't see it myself but I was told by some very important people that not only does it absolve me, it's the opposite of what people were hoping, you know, the radical Left." He further threatened legal action against both Epstein's estate and author Michael Wolff.
Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump accused Wolff of conspiring with Epstein to damage his political career, saying, "Wolff, who's a third-rate writer, was conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein to hurt me politically or otherwise and that came through loud and clear. So we'll probably sue Wolff on that… Maybe the Epstein estate, I guess. I don't know. But we'll certainly sue Wolff."
Brett Ratner's Appearance in the Files
Among the released materials were images featuring film director Brett Ratner, known for the Rush Hour movie series. The 56-year-old director, who is currently working on a documentary about First Lady Melania Trump, appears in photographs embracing a young woman while standing next to Jeffrey Epstein. Additional images show Ratner sitting on a sofa alongside Epstein and two women whose faces have been obscured.
It is important to note that there is no indication of wrongdoing from these particular files regarding Ratner or others depicted. The release continues to generate significant public and media attention as more details emerge from the extensive Epstein case documentation.
