In a statement released by YOWICAN's National Chairman, Belusochukwu Enwere, the organization described Trump's comments as "racist" and reflective of a disturbing global perception of Nigeria. The youth group emphasized that these remarks should serve as a catalyst for serious national introspection among the country's leadership.
