The Abia State Police Command has apprehended a 52-year-old man in connection with a kidnapping operation in the state. Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect is part of a group believed to be responsible for a recent abduction incident.

During the operation, the kidnapped victim was successfully rescued after being held captive for an undisclosed period. A sum of money, believed to be ransom, was also recovered at the scene.
