Businessman Blord Allegedly Moved to Segregation in Kuje Prison Over Health Concerns

Social media critic Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has shared a concerning update regarding the health status of businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly called Blord, during his ongoing detention at Kuje prison. The update, which emerged on Sunday, April 12, 2026, via VeryDarkMan's Instagram story, includes a WhatsApp message alleging that Blord has been transferred from a cell area housing hardened criminals to a segregation unit due to health issues.

Alleged Transfer from 'Ajegunle Part' of Kuje Prison

According to the WhatsApp message shared by VeryDarkMan, Blord was moved from a section referred to as Egypt 2, which the sender described as the Ajegunle part of Kuje prison. This area is reportedly inhabited by armed robbers and other serious offenders, with the sender claiming that conditions there are among the worst in the facility. The message stated, Them done move Blord from Egypt 2 to segregation, Egypt 2 na the Ajegunle part of Kuje prison, where armed robbers and other criminals dey stay. They had to move the former accountant general from segregation to put him there. Him be dey sick, so they had to move him from those hardened guys living under the worst conditions in Kuje.

VeryDarkMan indicated that he had been aware of Blord's illness since April 6, which led him to mock activist Omoyele Sowore's assertion that Blord was using his time in prison as an opportunity to rest. Sowore had previously claimed that Blord said he was extremely busy before his detention and viewed the incarceration as a rare chance to relax.

VeryDarkMan's Willingness to Allow Bail Application

In light of Blord's alleged health concerns and pleas from prominent figures, VeryDarkMan expressed a willingness to not oppose the businessman's bail application. He wrote, Since on the 6th we knew Blord fell ill na why we dey laugh Sowore as he say Blord dey rest, na why we self leave am make e dey enjoy, however, as it stands now that we have seen that Sowore and his avengers don't have power to bring Blord out and discontinue the case like he claimed. We are willing to temper mercy.

This development follows a Federal High Court order that remanded Blord at Kuje prison over allegations of impersonation and related charges filed by VeryDarkMan. The critic has been vocal about the case, which has garnered significant attention online.

Reactions to the Alleged Health Update

The update has sparked varied reactions from social media users, with many expressing skepticism and concern. Wisdom Dennis commented, I thought he said no body should beg for him, that he went there to rest. Blessing Goldman reacted, Shebi na VDM talk am did you here it from the people working there, don't expect nice talk from the enemies, rats come and cry. Emeka added, Manipulator. Blord is not sick, there is no way Blord will stay with common criminals. He also knows he can't stop Blords bail.

Another user, Living Saint Lastbusstop, remarked, Bros this is bailable offense knowing fully well that the application will not be opposed, they came up with all this story, anyways my problem now be say the goat wey I buy yesterday don carry belle , I know know who de responsible.

Condition for Forgiveness and Case Withdrawal

In related news, VeryDarkMan has previously outlined a condition under which he would be willing to forgive Blord and discontinue the legal case. During a conversation with human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju, the critic hinted that he is ready to forgive the businessman and withdraw the case immediately. To achieve this, VeryDarkMan stated that a mediator must go online and openly express support for the ruling party and the President.

The situation continues to unfold as Blord remains in detention, with his health and legal status being closely monitored by the public and media alike.
