Prosecution's Case

The prosecutor, Sanitarian Abolaji Dasaolu, informed the court that the offenders were arrested at approximately 8:00 a.m. at Tekobo, Idi-Aba, within the Abeokuta Magisterial District, for illegally dumping refuse on a public road. He stated that the waste emitted a foul odor, attracted flies, and could lead to the spread of diseases such as cholera. Additionally, he noted that dumping refuse on roads and drainage channels could block drains, increase flooding risks, and endanger lives and property.
