A Kano Magistrate's Court has ordered the remand of Muhammad Najib Rimin Kebe in a correctional facility over the alleged theft of shoes at a mosque located within the premises of the Norman's Land Court in Kano.
Charges and Court Proceedings
The police brought the defendant before the court, presided over by Magistrate Dayyabu Jamilu Hamza, on charges related to trespass and stealing shoes at the mosque. The court instructed Adam Salisu Tarauni to read the charges to the defendant.
After the charges were read, the court directed that the defendant be remanded in a correctional facility and postponed further hearing in the case until August 28, 2026.
