Family's Emotional Plea and Condemnation of Diaspora Violence

Emeka's body has recently been repatriated to Nigeria for burial, bringing a somber closure to one chapter of this tragedy. In a video shared by his sister, Queen Uche, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, the family, including Emeka's wife, can be seen and heard urging him to fight and hunt down his killers. This raw display of grief underscores their desperation for retribution.

Reiterating their call for justice, Uche lamented the disturbing trend of Igbos in the diaspora killing their fellow Igbos out of greed, envy, and jealousy. She expressed her profound pain and sorrow, stating, "I have a lot to say but I have no strength in me anymore to write, day by day, tears and pain is now my daily dose because of your demise, especially watching the video of how you were killed."

She continued, "It has given me a stone pain in my heart that can't easily heal but I will fight till you get justice. Emeka nwannem, your death took away all the strength, the happy me, I am so disorganized that I am trying hard to get back to being me and move on."

Strong Words Against Perpetrators and Community Reflection

Uche directed harsh words towards the perpetrators, asserting, "They may have succeeded in killing you Emeka, but they can't escape their own death and it will be more painful and horrible. I miss you always Eze. You are gone but will never be forgotten." She recalled their last video call on February 4th, noting how fresh his smile remains in her memory, only for him to be murdered in cold blood the next day.

In a broader condemnation, she stated, "Igbos in diaspora killing their fellow Igbos, shame on you people. Greed, Envy, Jealousy and natural hatred just because one is doing better and greater than the other. The Heart of Igbos are Evil and full of hate. I used to be so proud to be born as an Igbo girl but the Evil and killing of one another Igbos do now especially in diaspora makes me to regret coming from Igbo."

She praised Emeka's strength, saying, "You are a strong man Emeka and you fought so hard to stay alive but nobody can survive the kind of brutal and wicked stab they gave you." Her final plea was direct: "Fight and hunt Kingsley, Jay and others involved in your death. May Heaven grant you peaceful rest, AMEN."

This case has not only brought personal tragedy but also sparked a conversation about violence within Nigerian diaspora communities, particularly among the Igbo ethnic group. The family's call for vengeance reflects their deep anguish and the urgent need for justice and societal change to prevent such senseless acts in the future.
