The police spokesperson strongly condemned the criminal act, stating, "The command strongly condemns the criminal act carried out by suspected kidnappers who invaded the residence of one Adesida Daniel." During the violent encounter, Daniel sustained a gunshot wound to his right hand while attempting to resist the attackers who had already abducted his wife.
