According to the police spokesperson, SP Bashir Usman, the attack took place at approximately 5:15 a.m. on May 9, 2026, while the victims were asleep. The suspect allegedly used a cutlass to inflict fatal injuries on both individuals. Both victims succumbed to their wounds at the scene.
