The Police Public Relations Officer also urged the public to remain calm and cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities as the investigation continues to unfold. Adam stated: "We're appealing to anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation."

Context of Similar Crimes

This tragic incident follows another disturbing case of family violence that occurred just two weeks prior in Ebonyi State. In that separate incident, a 20-year-old man named Oforbuike Damian allegedly macheted his mother to death, claiming she refused to bathe him and declined to rent a shop for his brother.

The Jigawa police command has reiterated its commitment to maintaining peace and order throughout the state, emphasizing their dedication to thorough investigations and proper legal processes in all criminal cases.
