Nigerian woman vows never to return to South Africa

A Nigerian woman, Emilia Godwin, has vowed never to return to South Africa, accusing South Africans of wickedness and hostility towards Nigerians. Emilia was among the 258 Nigerians who arrived safely in Lagos this morning following federal government intervention.

Emilia's Account

Speaking to The Cable at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, a visibly angry Emilia said: 'Now I am in my country and I have my mouth to speak. They are wicked. They do not like us. If you enter a place, they make jest of you, they pull you. They beat you. We are just like slaves there. We can't speak. If you talk too much, they will start hitting you, speaking their language.'

When asked if she would ever consider returning, Emilia firmly said no. Despite her daughter being South African by birth, she declared she would never set foot in the country again.

Long Awaited Departure

Emilia revealed she had been waiting for the opportunity to leave South Africa since 2014. 'Since 2014 I came to South Africa. I started seeing these signs but I didn't see these opportunities to come back. They are wicked. Their women are useless. Even if they see a Nigerian man is married, they do not care. They want to have a child with a Nigerian man so they can take their properties and kill them the way they killed my husband. I cannot go back to South Africa anymore.'

Emilia further claimed that South African women are diabolical and love to entrap Nigerian men. According to her, many Nigerian men have children with South African women and subsequently 'get lost' in the country.
