In a dramatic security operation, police officers from the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Unit of the Bayelsa State Police Command have apprehended two individuals over an alleged conspiracy to murder a prophet. The suspects, identified as Samuel Daniel, a 21-year-old male from Nembe Ogbolomabiri Community in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, and Pastor Elijah Oro, a 59-year-old male from Ozoro Community in Delta State, were taken into custody following intensive investigations.

According to official reports, the arrests were made after police received intelligence about a sinister plot targeting a prophet whose identity has been withheld for security reasons. Preliminary findings indicate that Samuel Daniel was captured within the premises of the prophet, where he allegedly confessed to being an active member of the Greenlanders Confraternity, a notorious cult group. Further interrogation revealed that Pastor Elijah Oro is accused of hiring Daniel to carry out the assassination attempt.
