Court Proceedings and Bail Conditions

During the court session, the prosecutor, Inspector Nelson Akintimehin, requested an adjournment to allow time for assembling witnesses to support the trial. The defendant, who appeared without legal representation, entered a plea of not guilty to both charges brought against him.

In his ruling, Chief Magistrate Sunday Adedapo granted the defendant bail set at N750,000, with the requirement of one surety in a like sum. The court imposed specific conditions for the surety, including providing evidence of tax payment for the current year and submitting two passport photographs.
