Security guard abducts employer's children in Niger

A private security guard employed by a Minna resident identified as Danjuma has allegedly abducted his employer's two sons, Umar and Anas, both aged six. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in the Brighter Area of Minna, the Niger State capital.

Incident Details

The children's father, a businessman, became alarmed after he could not find his children and later discovered that the security guard had also disappeared. Reports indicate that while the businessman was away from home, the security guard, identified as Sani Abdulrahman, allegedly took the children out on a motorcycle for Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

Concerned over their prolonged absence, family members began searching for the children and visited hospitals across Minna metropolis, suspecting they might have been involved in an accident. However, it later emerged that the children were allegedly in the custody of kidnappers.

Danjuma also urged members of the public to join the family in prayers for the children's safe return.
