The Bauchi State Police Command has made a significant arrest in a disturbing case involving the sexual assault of two minors. According to official reports, a security guard has been taken into custody for allegedly raping two children, aged 4 and 5, in Bauchi.

SP Nafiu Habib, the spokesperson for the Bauchi State Police Command, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued on Sunday, March 8, 2028. The suspect, identified as Kamaluddeen Aliyu, is accused of luring the young victims into a security room on separate occasions and sexually assaulting them.
The case came to light when a 30-year-old mother reported the incident at the 'B' Divisional Police Headquarters on February 23, 2026. She alleged that Kamaluddeen Aliyu, a 24-year-old security guard employed by Al-Ansar Security Limited, had enticed the two minors into a security room located at Tsohon Company and committed unlawful carnal acts against them.
Police Response and Investigation
Following the report, the police acted swiftly. Both the victims and the suspect were taken to the Police Clinic for a comprehensive medical examination to gather evidence and assess the extent of the harm caused.
In response to the severity of the allegations, the Commissioner of Police has directed the Divisional Police Officer to transfer the case to the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) Unit. This specialized unit will conduct a thorough investigation to ensure justice is served and to prevent such incidents in the future.
